Micropipettes: Accurate and Reliable

If there is one thing that a pipette or a micropipette needs to be it is accurate and reliable. It will pass if the micropipette is not feature rich and does not come with all the bells and whistles, but if the micropipette fails to deliver to precise and accurate readings it is of no good.  At Accumax each micropipette is consistently made with care are precession to make sure that they are accurate and reliable in their performance. Micropipettes are generally used by individual scientists, large scale laboratories and students who all require their equipment to perform at the hour of need. Accumax comes through each time and make sure that the micropipettes that they supply are individually calibrated prior to releasing them.

It is in the scientific world where accuracy and consistency matter the most. Because  the scientific studies, manufacturing processes and data analysis of elements require a great deal of accuracy. At times it is a matter of life and death as well and thus precision and accuracy is required to be maintained when constructing a micropipette. In addition to the device accuracy it is also essential  that the operator himself uses standard practices while using the pipette and is a reliable technician.  The technician needs to take care that he does not make an error while handling the pipette or while taking the readings. It is vital to do both since we are dealing with highly precise data here. Thus a well designed micropipette would certainly make it easier for you to operate and take accurate readings. At Accumax we have done just that, we have created a pipette with an ergonomic design sothat it ensure that the pipette is easy to use and user friendly. In fact it has been designed with the user in mind so that it is comfortable to operate using both either the left hand or the right hand. It provides a relaxed grip and good balance. The Accumax pipettes are capable of an impressive performance, and for a long time at that. Thus laboratories from all over the world choose and invest on these Accumax pipettes.

How to choose the right pipette for your task

Pipette and their varieties
Accumax Smart

Pipette; the slender and graduated tubes that are used in various laboratories basically serve the important task of measuring as well as transferring accurate quantities of liquids to other containers. Mainly used for different scientific applications, a pipette can vary in shape and size. If you want to buy a pipette, here are a few things you should know about them.

Micro pipette

If you want to measure liquids that are less than 1ml in volume, then you should look for a good micro pippet.

Automatic pipette

This pipette is specially designed to transfer liquids. They can be adjusted to accept different sample amounts. They resemble a bulb and also have a plunger which gives them the functionality of a syringe. They give highly accurate measurements for liquids that are to be measured below 5ml.

Volumetric pipette

This pipette is larger than the micro pipette. Quickness and accuracy are the two unique features of this pipette. The volume measured by these pipette can be from 10 ml to 25 ml.

Graduated pipette

This pipette is completely opposite to that of the volumetric pipette. They are either made of plastic or glass. They can measure liquids having a volume of 1ml to 10 ml.

These days, micro pipette are widely used in laboratories due to the accuracy they can deliver. They differ according to the use and are available in various forms that can suit your needs. As the usage of pippet are made in laboratories, quality should be always given due importance.
